Farnborough airport On 12 November 2009 the application to increase movements from 28000 to 50000 was turned down! They have appealed and so there will now be an inquiry by the Planning Inspectorate.

We have a record of the flight landing pattern for the week 21st June to the 27th June 2009. Note the heavy number of flights over Woking with a lighter, but still significant, number over Hook Heath.

Hook Heath is a green leafy area to the South West of Woking town centre. It has its own charming character which the Association wishes to preserve. On behalf of members, the Residents Association gets advance copies of planning applications, proposals for change in local roads, paths and green belt land, etc. A general meeting of the Association is held each year. If urgent action is required then members are contacted directly.
